The Fiat Bartoletti Racing Transporter 306/2 Ferrari dark red 1/18th scale model.
This model is a detailed and high-quality diecast miniature in 1/18 scale of the 1956 Bartoletti bus chassis of the type Fiat 642 RN2. Its approximately 6.6 litre six-cylinder in-line diesel engine of the type 364A produced 67 kW / 92 hp at that time and gave the transporter, which was equipped with large double fuel tanks and thus a long range, a top speed of 98 kilometres per hour.
The prototype of this 62 centimetre long model car was 9.10 metres long. The miniature features opening doors to the driver’s cab and the workshop area behind it. The rear panel can be folded down so that the ramps can then be set up prototypically. They thus allow the authentic acceptance of cargo in the form of the contemporary racing cars from Formula 1 or the 24h race of Le Mans.
